"Something that your eyes and body want to do naturally. If you're missing the ball you're not seeing it right...Gene showed me the light in 15 minutes. Immediately, I was firing the balls in perfectly. If I would have known this when I played Efren Reyes in the Million Dollar IPT tournament, I would have won."

It is rare to find a match like this. Gary Spaeth and Bugs Rucker are two legendary players. If you want to learn a little about the game of bank pool, just watch these guys. Spaeth is hammering ‘em into the pockets. The video is 11 short parts, but I have them all in one place for you to enjoy with minimal effort. Don’t miss any of the action!

Sources say this video is circa 1992 at the Derby City Open. They are playing 9-ball bank pool for some cash. They are playing on a Murray table. If you like the game of bank pool and would like to learn more, I strongly recommend picking up a copy of Freddy Bentivegna’s book “Banking with the Beard”. This is an awesome book, revealing closely guarded secrets. We’re lucky someone as skilled as Freddy was willing divulge some of his knowledge

Cheers,
Skippy

P.S. For all of you one pocket and bank pool nuts like me out there, I’ve pulled together some resources to help us increase our pool knowledge. Check out the books and DVDs on the right, below the video box.
