This billiards video is from the Galveston World Classic. It features Johnny "The Scorpion" Archer and, Hall-of-Famer and my favorite player, Nick Varner. This pool match was played to decide who got 3rd and 4th place in the 8 ball tournament.

If you know anything about professional pool, you know that these two guys are world-class players and legends in their own time. They are also class guys.

The video includes and some warm-up and other discussions leading up to the actual match. If you want to go right to the start of the pool match, go to 17:30. The commentary is by JoeyA and Gene Albrecht, a strong player, too. The commentary is great, so you should pick up some good knowledge from this match.

NOTE: The audio is several seconds ahead of the video. It is a little annoying, but the content is great.

These two world-class players are playing in the finals of the winner's side of the bracket. They are playing 8 ball.

This is a good match with good commentary from JoeyA (Pool Forum Legend) and Charlie "hill-billy" Bryant. The only bad thing about the match is the audio/video quality and editing. The most annoying thing is the sound is a few seconds ahead of the shots, so they tend to spoil the results of the shot, but they do have good information to share, so I'll overlook the audio glitch. The video quality is fair, by today's standards. It was captured via Ustream and the folks at Inside Pool Mag.
